Victoria Collins - Biography

Dr. Victoria Collins is Executive Vice President and Principal of The Keller Group Investment Management, Inc., a registered investment advisory firm managing approximately $850 million. One of a select group to be named for five consecutive years among the 250 best financial advisors in the USA by Worth magazine, Victoria is also listed among the 100 Great Financial Planners by Mutual Funds magazine, and in October 2004, was named one of the 100 Most Exclusive Wealth Advisors in Robb Report Worth magazine.

A recognized leader in the field and a winner of the Orange County Business Journal’s "Outstanding Women in Business Award," she is a member of the Financial Planning Association (FPA), and serves on The Orange County Register’s panel of mutual fund experts.

Victoria received her Ph.D. from the University of California, Berkeley. With more than two decades of experience in financial planning, Dr. Collins is a well-known lecturer, speaker and writer and is the Founder of the Financial Strategies Conference for Women, an annual event in Orange County, as well as the Investment Conference for Women in London.

In addition, she is a National Director with the Institute for Family Foundations. In this role, she is responsible for the financial component of the Praxis program. This preparation for wealth course teaches and mentors "heirs-to-be" in all aspects of responsible money management.

Victoria has authored or co-authored six books on financial planning and her latest book is Best Intentions, Ensuring that Your Estate Plan Delivers Both Wealth and Wisdom. She has been interviewed on major radio and TV shows including Good Morning America, Bloomberg, CNBC, MSNBC, and CBS’s news affiliations, and in publications such as The Wall Street Journal, USA Today, Money, Business Week, Investors Business Daily, The Los Angeles Times and The New York Times. Dr. Collins co-hosted the 13-part PBS special, “The Financial Advisors,” and currently writes financial columns for various publications and appears as a commentator on KOCE TV.
